Some tips for a successful family seaside holiday
Now that you are well equipped and ready to take off for a sunny destination, there are a few rules to follow in order to make the most of this getaway.
1- Seaside holidays often rhyme with sun
So watch out for the dangers! It is essential to protect your children’s fragile skin from the sun’s rays with high protection sunscreen or anti-UV clothing.
Remember to give your child water regularly to avoid dehydration and to cover their head with a hat or cap .
For infants, avoid the beach during the hottest hours and therefore prefer times when the sun is less aggressive.
2- Be vigilant of the risk of drowning
Your child sees water as fun and entertaining and is therefore unaware of the dangers. It is therefore important to always keep an eye on your children and never leave them unsupervised. Wait until your child has come out of the water before you get back into your book.
3- Finally, be alert to the risks of hydrocution
After a meal or long exposure to the sun, do not let your child swim and make sure that he or she gradually enters the water. For example, he can wet his neck and arms before putting his whole body in the water.
With all these tips and tricks, don’t hesitate any longer and go ahead and book your family vacation by the sea!
